During this leg of our expedition, we will be putting on scuba gear and setting out for an ocean adventure! We’ll be making awesome discoveries about the vast oceans that cover 75% of our Earth’s surface. We’ll explore the deepest parts of the ocean. Learn why the shoreline is sandy, how much salt is in the ocean, and why the Atlantic’s seawater is saltier than the Pacific’s? We’ll make "waves in bottles", fish pillows, sand art, model bathyscopes, sea dioramas and treasure chests, as well as experimenting with water tension, erosion, and salinity!
