What does the longest river in the world, a waterfall nicknamed by the local people "smoke that thunders," a great pyramid, the Baobab tree, and the largest desert in the world all have in common? They are all located on the continent of Africa which is this month’s leg of our "Expedition Earth" trip. We will be exploring this diverse and wondrous continent by sculpting our own Sphinx, making cave writings, making our own African bowls called "Calabash", making wooden masks, and making our own rock paintings. We’ll also be cooking up and enjoying some Kenyan "Crunchy Bananas" and No-Bake "Zebra Cake". Certainly, it will be an African Safari to remember!
