This month KidsCare will venture to and explore "The Land of the Midnight Sun"! We’ll have fun learning about the indigenous people of this region called the Lapps or Sami, and head a bit further South into Finland, Sweden, and Norway to try walking in "wooden" shoes, making headscarf’s called "sorokka", weaving woolen wall hangings, hooking our own rugs, decorating glassware, and making and eating from mini-smorgasbord!
