KidsCare of Pennridge, Incorporated was founded in 1997, yet the
concept of KidsCare was started in 1991. The founders of KidsCare
conceived the concept in order to help solve an ever growing problem rooted in our fast-paced society--
children being left home alone...
With the tremendous increase in single-parent families and families with both parents
working, the need for high quality school-age child care has grown exponentially throughout
the Delaware Valley region, including the communities served by the Pennridge School District.
The influx of children into regular day care centers, and the large number of children being
left at home "to get themselves ready for school" or returning after school to "unsupervised"
homes has reached crisis proportions. These factors have taxed existing private day care
centers and school-age child care programs to their limits, left many families without
adequate child care, and fostered the development of programs too short on experience and
quality services and too high in program prices.
It is the intended purpose of KidsCare of Pennridge, Inc. to provide school-age child care
programs throughout the Pennridge School District with the high quality of standards and
efficient operations demanded by today’s consumer, and to work in partnership with the
Pennridge School District in continuing and expanding their existing services and operations
so as to help ease the critical shortage and need for quality school-age child care:
before-school, after-school, school holidays, and summer.
As part of this partnership, KidsCare of Pennridge, Inc. works closely with the Pennridge
School District to provide school-age child care to all families, regardless of financial
ability, at the lowest, most affordable program tuition rates possible.
KidsCare of Pennridge Inc. and its high quality and unparalleled programs, as well as its
dynamic and flexible school district partner ship is a unique and high-powered combination of
resources that will continue to provide and expand the "very best" in school-age child care
programming services for parents and children in the Pennridge School District.
