Child Care for Before School, After School, and Day-Off Programs
KidsCare of Pennridge is open from 7:00 AM until school begins and after school until 6:00 PM. Day-Off Programs are available on Teacher Professional Development Days.
KidsCare Program Locations
KidsCare of Pennridge, founded in 1997, provides high-quality school-age child care for families in a safe, friendly, and child-centered environment. We offer diverse enrichment and learning activities that build self-esteem, develop skills for navigating challenging situations, nurture positive social relationships, and embrace a healthy respect for the community. Our programs are licensed by the DHS and are all developmentally age-appropriate and are taught by certified teachers.

Inclement Weather
If the School District is closed for the day, we are closed. If only after-school activities are canceled, our afternoon program will still be open. If there is a one- or two-hour delay in the morning, our program will open with the same one- or two-hour delay from the usual 7:00 AM starting time. If there is an early dismissal of schools due to weather, then the KidsCare PM will begin at the time of dismissal and end at its regular ending time of 6:00 PM. However, parents will be encouraged to pick up their children as soon as possible due to poor weather conditions. KidsCare of Pennridge also reserves the right to close KidsCare PM at 4:00 PM if it feels that weather conditions have reached an intolerable level.
Licensing
The PA Department of Human Services licenses each of our sites. All of our staff members have criminal history checks, child abuse clearance, FBI fingerprint checks, state-mandated clearances, and training.
